Dr. Noura Kamal

I am a researcher & anthropologist with over 20 years of experience. Having worked in two different fields - business administration as well social sciences (anthropology and sociology) - I have gained rich knowledge on conducting research from different perspectives. In addition, I have had the opportunity to work in Palestine: Palestinian Banking Institute & Birzeit University (2004-2008), and Austria:  Vienna University &  Austrian Academy of Sciences (2011-2023). I have published various articles about  Palestine & Yemen in peer-reviewed journals, in addition to organizing and attending conferences in different parts of the world.  My most recent research project was funded by the Austrian Science Fund, and I served as the project leader (2019-2023). I was the first Palestinian to get this grant to work on Palestine (Title: Humorous Art and Reconfiguring Palestinian Discourse). I am also a certified coach (Modules: 101 & 102) by the Global Coaching Institute in Australia.
